Vanilla 1.1.4 is a product of Lussumo. More Information: Documentation, Community Support.
There is a list.
The Kitchen is a wholly owned subsidiary of Dekita.org and has been set up for language educators to discuss Connectivism and Connective Knowledge. An affiliated project is the Dekita Orchard, which rounds up related contributions from a variety of sources.
The Kitchen runs on Vanilla.
Is it possible to link to single posts or extract the feeds of single members in the forum?
In the top right corner of every post there's a hyperlinked number prefixed by a hash mark (eg #2 for this comment). That link may or may not allow you to do funky things involving double-clicking it for the permanent link URL to be copied to your clipboard. If that fails, you may right-click (possibly control-click for those of the Mac persuasion) the link and then select "Copy link location".
This board currently generates an Atom feed that catches everything (subscribe to it on the front page) and Atom feeds for every Category and every individual thread (subscribe to them on the relevant pages). Vanilla Add-ons that allow for more fine-grained syndication don't seem to be available.
Thank you for installing the add-on, Rudolf. It is good to have this function when we want to refer to what people said in other threads. As for the dekita kitchen discussion threads, I have added them to the Orchard in case someone wants to subscribe to all the feeds from one place at one go. I see the Orchard as a kind of Superglu of the course blog + eventually course forum in Moodle + kitchen discussions + kitchen chef blogs and whatever emerges and interests us along the course.
I was thinking it might be a good idea to insert the links to the Orchard, Main Course Blog and Forum here on the left hand column of this forum (at least for the duration of the course) so we can navigate quickly from here. Would this be possible?
I've added two additional links to the Metadata in the sidebar.
