  • How Your Interview Will Be Perfect??

    Posted: June 2nd, 2007, 3:43am GMT by daniela89

Do you have an interview?  Do you want it to go absolutely good?  Well you just have to prepare yourself a day before!  Just follow these instructions!

Before the bigday, you have to prepare your clothes, because on the day itself, you will be nervous and may choose the wrong outfit, and you end up losing time.  If you are a man, there is the suit, but it is not necessary that you wear the tie and its jacket.  Women, if you want to wear a skirt avoid wearing mini-skirts, wear one that reaches your knee.
The main thing is to sleep well.  Try to go to bed early, and avoid drinking coffee and alcoholic.

         Second step:  The bid day!
Take a cold shower, it will help your stress releave.  After wearing your clothes, don’t put much perfume, you never know if the interviewer is allergic.  Women don’t make yourself a “clown” with ALOT of make-up.  If it does help, eat chocolate, believe me IT IS a stress remover.
Another thing to do is to try to arrive before time, this way you will be calm and in a good shape for the interview.
Once you are called, go into the room, with a smile and say “hello” by shacking hands. Another important thing to remember is not to sit without being asked to.  Women sit legs crossed and men normally, no need to cross legs.
Keep smiling, this will show that you are a happy and friendly person.
Remember to answer the questions with security, TRY not to be shy!!!
Finally be yourself!  No need to lie or pretend to be someone you are not, because sooner or later they will find out and you will be called “liar”.

If you follow these steps, I assure you, you will do great.  The rest is for you to show: your capacities, abilities and your good work!!

    GOOD LUCK!!

  • How To Make A Rocket

    Posted: June 2nd, 2007, 3:24am GMT by daniela89

First of all you may need to buy the required equipment to construct your rocket.  You will need to have in hands a plastic bottle of two litres, like the soda ones.  You will need also a little quantity of alcohol and a lighter.

To do such experinece, you need first to find an open lace where your rocket can fly with freedom and of course your total enjoyment of this little show!!

Nowthe most important part: the construction.
First, you have to take an empty bottle and put some alcohol in it, then you have to rotate the bottle until some of the alcohol evaporates.
Then you have to make a hole on the lid of the bottle.
Finally, you can light the fire in front of the lid and “voilà” there goes your rocket!!!

It’s very easy to be done!!!

    Hope you enjoy it!!!!

  • LEBANON…

    Posted: May 9th, 2007, 9:52pm GMT by daniela89

LEBANON, my country… the country I grew up in… the country i lived in for thirteen years…my home!!

For many people, Lebanon is a country more like a desert were we see camels and sand all over the place. For others Lebanon is country were women have no rights and only men rule. For some other Lebanon is a part of Syria. For few Lebanon is in Africa. Last but not leas, I have already heard “What’s that?”

Well I know that Lebanon is a very small country, smaller than the city of São Paulo, it is only 10 542 km2 . Though it’s small size, Lebanon is very rich of love, happiness, fun, joy, well I do think it is the best country of the world.

Lebanon is like São Paulo, well there, we were the same type pf clothes, we act the same…we are not different as most of people think.
There is everything bank, hospitals, restaurants, cinemas, play-centers, pubs, night-clubs, churches, mosque, car and not camels.

If a tourist goes to Lebanon he will have no problems, because everybody there speaks three languages: Arabic (Lebanese), French and English.  And the citizens are friendly they even can invite them to a lunch in their house!

Lebanon has a lot of natural and historic places to be visited; the JJeita grout, Baalbeck, Sayda,Tyr, Beit el Din, and much much more!
There you will walk on a camel, eat delicious sweets, take pictures with Arabic clothes and much more.  But i can guaranty you that you will have a lot of fun.

In the winter you can go skiing in the best sky places, in the summer to the beach and if you go the there between March and April you can go sky and go to the beach in the same day!!

Well and don’t think there is a better place then Lebanon… you should go there and see it by yourself!

  • GLOBALIZATION, GOOD OR BAD?? THIS IS THE QUESTION…

    Posted: May 9th, 2007, 8:53pm GMT by daniela89

“The globalization has ruined the world”said an old lady while being interviewed on this subject. However, others can’t imagine life without globalization.
In terms of losing the sense of uniqueness, the globalization has actually done it.Now, everywhere we find Egyptian, Indian Chinese products. Travelling to one country to buy it’s own production has vanished. We can go to any mall, where we find everything from everywhere!
Also the globalization imposes unwanted cultures to some countries.  Like in Africa, the French tried to impose their culture to the residents there, fifty years ago, but the fights between black people and white remains.
Another thing to remind is the Americanisation, citizen of different countries like the American stuff, that are now ruling the other countries, and the citizens lose their own identity.Another point to consider, the American tried to impose their culture in Iraq and the result was a war to demand freedom .
On the other hand. the globalization has brought the countries together by breaking communication barries. Specially by the Internet and the cable television.  In different parts of earth, people know what is happening in the rest of the world!  Exchange of goods and information makes the world better.
Another important advantage is the multhi-ethnic society, the habitant of any country know diverse ethnics, they know how to act in a different country, without racism and discrimination.
To finish, the lingua franca; The communication between tow persons from different nationalities is easier. No need to learn the language of each country you will visit, English is making everything easier!

We can’t say the globalization is bad or good.  Like everything, it has its pros and cons. The human-being has to accept it whether they like it or not.
